What programs do we offer?
Detoxing is the first step to the rest of your life. You need to purge your system of drugs/alcohol or both. Depending on how long you have been addicted and to what substance the process will be unique to you.
Cocaine will often present itself as depression and restlessness, and it usually lasts approximately 7-10 days.
Opiate and Heroin withdrawal typically mimics the flu and lasts 5-7 days.
Alcohol withdrawal lasts from a few days to several weeks. It can include tremors, nausea, and sometimes, seizures.
Benzodiazepineszepines include Xanax, Librium, and Valium and withdrawal from this class of medications can take weeks or even months.
Methamphetamine withdrawal can take a couple of months, and you will be tired, depressed, and may have a lack of appetite.
Prescription drugs such as Hydrocodone, Oxycodone, and Vicodin are typically prescribed for pain relief. You will experience severe flu-like symptoms, and withdrawal usually is at its worst on day three or four.
We will help you through the first phases of your symptoms and then help you acquire the tools to deal with secondary symptoms and depression. Having help while you detox is critical, and we can help you manage your symptoms and try to make you as comfortable as possible.
